I'll look into the speedo thing. I don't have bag brackets. I could swear that the noise is being generated at the transmission, but I'll be holding things still until I find the rattle or confirm it is coming from the tranny. I'm puttin' in some fresh oil in a week or so. Maybe that will help. There's about 800 miles on the last oil change.
